What to do in case of an emergency?
If you require emergency medical services due to an accident, a critical illness or a serious condition that requires immediate attention, you can use your plan following these steps:
01. Seek immediate medical attention
02. Present your insurance card
Remember to ask your medical provider to contact our medical team, which is at your service 24/7, 365 days a year, to assess your emergency and coordinate payment for your medical services.

In the United States, please present your Bupa card if you are from: Costa Rica, Panama, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Anguilla, Argentina, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands. In Europe, present your Bupa card if you have: Privilege Care International, Secure Care International.

To make sure our medical team has already received the information needed to coordinate payment for your medical services, notify us within 72 hours of your emergency.
Just sign up for My Bupa, go to My Claims options, and select "Pre-authorization”
